You can use Report Viewer, But I think for that you must have VS 2005 .Just do some googling to confirm that.

I'm working on using authorization manager as policy data store for authorization and roles.. and i'm facing some problems i wish you can help me in
1)Do I have the ability to authorize users againest performing some action in ASP.Net page using AzMan while i'm using forms authentication not windows ? "it all depends on the user running the ASP.net as ithink when running in forms authentaction anonyoumus access is enabled and only one windows user will run for all users"
2)what is the use of such statment "it gets the user token but if there any more siple way .. and how this statment work"

the token variable is then used like this

i declare a variable to track the number of visitors to my web app in .asax file like
app_start event
application("userscount")=0
session_start event
application("userscount")+=1
session_end event
application("userscount")-=1
on testing the webapp by opening several sessions of a page to test the count, the Session_Start event works fine, but on closing a session, teh session_end event does not decrement
pls help

HI Aransiola,
If you use the Session variable rather then application as i saw in your example above then this will work fine.
Use like this:
Session("userscount") in place of application("userscount")
and if you want to count then application variable is fine but you have to use application_start event .

hii mike,
i am developing a project in vb.net. one of the module which i need for this project is alredy developed by another one in c#. my project manager asked me to use that. so i am using it. I added this that c# module into my project as another project. while i am running from my machin there is no problem. when i put it on server, it is prompting for username and password to logon to that server.
how to do this ??
i dono have much time also.. pls. give me some solution for the scenario..
or tell me is there any standard approch to do it??

That sounds like a problem with the code rather than mixing VB.NET and C#. You'll need to supply more details on what the code is doing when the prompt appears.

I agree with Michael. This doesn't really sound like a c#/vb interoperability issue. Is sounds more like permissions on your server.

Can you be more specific by what you mean by "handle"? Do you mean you have special needs in your environment and want some suggestions on persisting the session state?
If so, the answer really depends on your environment. For most of the applications I build, using the default in-process persistence works plenty fine.

Hi There plz any one do help me
why it is not working with me the code
the Html code for datagrid is

now the problem is when i run the page it comes but when i click on Edit Button nothing change
i mean the update button doesn't come and so the TextBoxes plz any one help me
and if i put the OnCancelCommand and OnDeleteCommand and so the rest it gives me compile time errer so plz some one check it
