thanks for ur valuble suggetion but debug is true in compilation section of my web.config file.
in fact i have checked all these possibilities
1.Integrated windows authentication checkbox is true in IIS
2.HTTP keep alives is checked
3.annonymous access is true
username is IUSR_ServerHO3 where ServerHO3 is my machine name
And allow IIS to configure the password is checked
4.In IDE Debug is selected
5.In project's properties ASP.Net debugging checkbox is enabled
6.All required services are running
7.i m using windows xp and login through "domain\administrator" user account.
As usual "domain\Administrator" is the member of debugger users group,Vs developers group and administrators group on my PC.
8.ASPNET account is also the member of all the above groups.
after checking all the above possibilities i have posted it here and some guru has suggested me that i should attach asp.net worker process(aspnet_wp.exe) to my application.
and now when i m going to attach form debug->processes
it prompts "unable to attach to process.access is denied."
i think if i will be able to attach aspnet_wp.exe to my application then it may solve my problem.
any idea besides the above solution will be highly appriciated.
i hope u ppl have understood my problem.
plz suggest some remedy....

Can any one tell me the use of such statment
"HttpWorkerRequest.GetUserToken()"
and in any case why not just use "windowsIdentity.current"
or any thing else to get the current user token in ASP.net Page
My Regards
|
|
|
|
|
In fact, they are all different as the GetUserToken method of a specific worker, that inherits from the HttpWorkerRequest , is normally used to get the security token passed to the ASP.NET from the web server IIS, meanwhile the WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent returns the security token of the current thread of the ASP.NET, for example the ASPNET (or NETWORK SERVICE) account. If you enable the impersonation with the identity entry in the web.config file, the WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent gives you the same account passed from the web server.

There are so many ways to use object oriented techniques for data access. What you should do is read a book on the subject.

Please help;
For a couple days I've been battling with writing a report that has to tables linked by a Inner join.
I think I found a work around. I'm using an SQL SERVER database.
Crystal was creating the following query:
SELECT t_EMPINFO.c_EmpFName,
t_EMPINFO.c_EmpCode,
t_Employee_Salary.c_TotalIncome, t_Employee_Salary.c_TotalDeduction,
t_Employee_Salary.c_TotalSalary
FROM t_EMPINFO INNER JOIN
t_Employee_Salary ON t_EMPINFO.c_EmpID = t_Employee_Salary.c_EmpId
WHERE (t_EMPINFO.c_Softdelete = '1') AND (t_Employee_Salary.c_SoftDelete = '1') AND (t_Employee_Salary.c_Year = 'PARAMETER1') AND (t_Employee_Salary.c_Month ='PARAMETER2')
IN Above Query In place of PARAMETER1 and PARAMETER2 I want to pass Differnt value at the run time (e.g 2007 , 01 ) how it's set dynamically
I have questions though:
1) Is it possible to change the sql that crystal generates without writing my own sql command?
Thanks again for all of your help on this!

Hi,
If you are using VS2005. I think the following will helps to you.
1) Make the EnableParameterPrompt to false.
2) For your example create two text box and a button.
3) In the button click event add the following code.
CrystalReportSource1.ReportDocument.SetParameterValue(0,TextBox1.Text)
CrystalReportSource1.ReportDocument.SetParameterValue(1,TextBox2.Text)
Thats it.

Hi to All,
How can I use FrameSet with ASP.NET2 AND C#?
|
|
|
|
|
Hi,
you can use following code in html code:
when you use above code, you may not be able to switch to design view of aspx page, because frame is not compatible with asp.net2 but dont worry it will work properly in run time.

What is the best way to produce and print simple reports from an ASP.NET application? I have an application hosted on a public web site (public hosting company), and would like to print simple reports without using such things as Crystal Reports since I have no access to the web server machine.
You could point me to any useful source for printing reports via an ASP.NET application.
|
|
|
|
|
I think the simplest is to format a "report" (e.g. a gridview of data on a web page) in your .aspx page, then let the user use the browser's print function.
|
|
|
|
|
You can use Report Viewer, But I think for that you must have VS 2005 .Just do some googling to confirm that.
