I thinks that read function has limit in term of number of bytes, so don't read whole image at once, but read in size of 10000-20000 bytes
file.read(buffer,size)
buffer=buffer+size
use this way and let me know wht happens

Hi all.
I am David and I have bitmap photo of the wall, and I wont to set it like wall in 3D how can I do it, in other words I have flat and wont to rotate it in 3D.
[flat is (x';y') and 3D is (x;y;z), I wont to rotate (x';y') in (x;y;z)]
I wont affect like I am wake and near is wall.
What I must do for it, if you know some algorithm tell me ware I can find it.
(I have not problem with math and time is not problem too)

Dream on. You can take a 2D image and turn it to 3D, you just don't have enough info. You can hazard a guess based on edge detection, I suppose...

u can read or write file from ftp by using wininet.h .
InternetReadFile(, , , ) function gives the number of bytes read.

Hi,
I am looking for a free tool to run on Windows XP which can sniff & parse the packets captured on a particular windows Socket.
the tool I look for not to use the Mac to capture packets.
I need to capture & parse the packets transferred between 2 process over the windows socket on the same machine, ie, without splitting them over 2 machines on LAN.
I am aware of ethereal but it captures over the mac layer.
Windump doesn't parse & display the packets only shows the traffic info
Kindly suggest any other free tool

i contact with a exe then when Execution,task manager show 2 process with similar path and name
i thought the exe used from crate process function,but this function needed
path and file name.
in this function when i pass curent file name,my aplication encounter with endless loop.

It sounds like you're going to need a full path to differentiate between the two files.
Or you could change the name of one of them

I have a float value (123.456789).In this i want only two fractional digits (like 123.45).I dont want to copy this value into string variable and format it.How can i do this directly?Is any functions are available?

floats are approximations, so there's really no way to get the exact value you want, but the closest would be to multiply by 10^the number of decimals, throw away the decimals ( by cast to int, or by calling floor ), and then divide again.

hello
I use MFC in PPC to create a dialog to playback a video by direct show.
Because use direct show to playback, it will crate a video window view in toplevel.
But I wish the video is overlaped with the dialog and if some UI is showed in toplevel I can find by the message of the dialog.
Pls tell me how to solve the issue and thanks a lot.

Assuming you are using one of the video mixing renderers (VMR-7 or VMR-9 then check this
out...
Using Windowless Mode[^]
Unfortunately, when using windowed mode, there's no interface to get the HWND for the window.
You can set its parent through the IVideoWindow interface but can't get its HWND to use as a
parent.
Anyway, windowless mode gives you much more flexibility/control.

You can use LoadCursor. But I would prefer CWaitCursor .
