First of all what do you mean by -

I guess you want to show a progress bar or some thing like that ?
If i am correct you will have to add multi-threading into ur application, wherein your progress bar will be in some other thread than ur application and would update as you complete the tasks in the application.
You will need some communication medium between the two threads such as global variables ( for example ).

Yep, you are right.. All I need is that! But my problem is with that percentage. I mean how should I make the progress bar increment correctly (for instance the job working on background will accomplished after 50 sec.. then every second my progress bar will increment 2 percent. but actually my program do not know how many seconds the job will take.. so just make a guess ? )

Hi,
You can subdivide the job into some small jobs for which you can assign some predefined percent. Suppose for example u want to copy say 100 files ( I consider this as ur complete job ) then u can increment the progress bar value after each file is successfully copied.
I think this is the only alternative to just depending upon time. You will have to divide your job in some small parts. this is ur best chance for a correct result.

To ubdate progress in other thread you must use Invoke mechanism.

I have recently developed a small application with C#.

I am a newcomer to .Net Remoting. After I had read some articles at CodeProject,I did som work by my self.
I created three project:Server.exe,Client.exe,RemotableObject.dll.Here is my Client code:

When I running the Client, it raise "System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File not found:RemotableObject".So I put RemotableObject.dll in the Client.exe's folder,and it's all well.
My question is: Does the RemotableObject.dll must be deployed together with every client? If it must,then what role does the RemotableObject.dll acts on the client? If it doesn't ,what additional work should I do to let RemotableObject.dll apart from the client?

First you have to get a reference to the node you want to select and then you just have to call myTreeView.SelectedNode = theNodeReference;

What do you mean by "it is not accepting"?
Either you have a reference to an existing node anywhere inside your tree, in which case the mechanism is working, or you don't have a reference to an existing node, in which case I'd expect the treeview to not select anything.
But without any code from your side it's impossible to tell what you did wrong.

You can read the document first of all in a string, then find the number of occurences of <space> in the string.

You will have to study the format of .doc file first to insert formatting in the file. When you know the format for, suppose italics, then you can insert that character in the right place.
You can also use Rich text box for formatting, if it supports .doc formatting (I am not sure abt the formats)
