Visio had the ability to do this as far back as VB5 (or maybe 6).
For .NET, I would assume that visio uses reflection to look at the types defined in an assembly, and creates the UML shapes from the properties/methods defined.

hello I just wanted to ask u abt how I can generate the PK values in a table that is being replicated as well. the subscriber can also enter new records. and there is only one subscriber though.
can I alter the table thru enterprise manager(sql server 2000) to include the identity property if not then what should I do.
I'm using VS .net 1.1. C#
whats the best suitable datatype for PK. I made it numeric (9,0) but now I think int would be better.. what dou say

We use the high order bits of a 32-bit integer to identify the site. We use 7 bits, which gives us the ability to have up to 128 sites, where each table can have approx 32 million records per site.
If that is not enough, you could always go with 64 bit.

i don't think so that there is any direct way to change the structure of original table in database through dataset or datatable.

Hi,
to add a new column to the database table you have to run a DDL-statement. Normally it should look like this (exact syntax depends on the database system you are using):
ALTER TABLE "Student" ADD COLUMN Age int
You can execute this statement using c#, if you are using for example ADO.NET. Just create a statement (like you do when you want to insert a row in one of your database table) and execeute it.

Hi
In my project i need to implement icon overlay for selected files and folders in a file system.When u right click on a file/folder and select a context menu the icon of the file/folder must be overlayed with a small icon.
I am new to windows shell programming and dont have enough time to do R&D.Searched the net but couldn't find any solution.Found one solution in DotNet247.com but it's not complete code.
can anyone help me.If possible post the code.

The reason documents are published as PDF files is to guarantee the sanctity of the document. Especially when publishing something that has legal implecations (like an employment application) over the internet. You must have the Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and you probably need to be recognized as an authorized author of the document.

Hi all!
I would like to detect that a form has stopped moving. Detecting a move start is very easy, simply the first enter in Form.onMove indicates the starting of the moving Form.
But how do i detect that the Form has stopped moving, onMove isn't called a final time when the Form has stopped moving. Can someone help me out?
