how many time do you need answer to same problem... have you checked answer to your previous question!.. search ofr key Port Scanner

Ports do not run. They are monitored by applications. You can, instead, check whether a port is being monitored or not.

Hi all,
I have created a CEditBox dynamically, while i am entering some text it is accepting only with in the range of the CEditBox. i can't enter beyond the Range of the CEditBox.
But this is not with CEditBox of the ToolBar, because when we run the Application with CEditBox Choose statically from the ToolBar to CDialog. When you run the Application the CEditBox takes as many Charaters you want.
I used Set SetLimitText(...) to set the Length of the CEditControl but it is not taking, Please help me Out.

hi
i want to play .wav audio file using win32 api, and i am using following code.

#include<mmsystem.h.>

PlaySound((LPCWSTR)"tada.wav", NULL, SND_FILENAME | SND_LOOP);
return 0;
}
the code compiles correctly. tada.wav is present in its exact location(code project). this code is not playing the file. it is returning 1.
one small beap comes and exits.
is the code correct?? if yes why it is not playing complete file.
if no, what is the exact method.

The sound specified by pszSound must fit into available physical memory and be playable by an installed waveform-audio device driver. PlaySound searches the following directories for sound files: the current directory; the Windows directory; the Windows system directory; directories listed in the PATH environment variable; and the list of directories mapped in a network. For more information about the directory search order, see the documentation for the OpenFile function.
If it cannot find the specified sound, PlaySound uses the default system event sound entry instead. If the function can find neither the system default entry nor the default sound, it makes no sound and returns FALSE

try giving the full path..Also no need to typecast like this
just copy the file to c:\ and try executing the below code
PlaySound( _T("c:\\tada.wav"), NULL, SND_FILENAME | SND_LOOP);

if i remove the typecast the following error will come:
error C2664: 'PlaySoundW' : cannot convert parameter 1 from 'const char [12]' to 'LPCWSTR'
If i use _T("c:\\tada.wav"): error C3861: '_T': identifier not found
The file tada.wav is present in current directory, c:\, c:\windows\media
If i give the full path, no change in output.
If i give some invalid filename say "afsdfasdf.wav", then also no change in output: one small beap comes.

I think you need to convert the string from ANSII to UNICODE. It should work this way

No, it's an MFC application that you've tried to create manually. Use AppWizard to create the application. You'll save yourself much time and grief.
