I think the handle part is missing at the end of defnition line

Same as anything you want an application to remember anything, save it to somewhere and retrieve it when needed.
Save it to registry or local file (local ini or config) if you want it to affect the local/cliend user.
Save it to database or server file if you want it to affect all users.
Save it to database and manage with user profile if you want more sophisticated "remembrance".
YMMV.

I recommend that you use the ZedGraph[^] chart control. It's feature rich, looks great, and it's free.

Hi, Has anyone else found it really annoying that a Texbox has a reserved height of 20 and a Combo Box has a reserved height of 21?
It means the two do not visually line up against each other. Hopefully I am being stupido and there is a way around this?

yes, but the textbox is only fixed to the font size, so if want change the font size in the textbox to 9pt and you should get a height of 21.

what way to take a backup database thru VB.NET. at the same time the backup will be stored only on the server. what will do?

I create a plot in VB and get data from memory, the curve will be shown as 2dLine. Now the problem is that there are more than 1000 data, and the labeling and ticks on X-axis looks so crowded that no one can read it. Is there any possible to show the labeling every 100 data, or set major labeling as 100 and only show it?

go to SQL Server. Generate the script of Database creation.
then use that script in vb.Net application . open the Connection with SQL server using Master Database. and run the database creation setup only. after running the creation command .. open the connection with Newly created DB and execute table,views,etc queries in it.
