Hi there, i have read reference about linux and found something nice. SQUID , it like a firewall but we can reject a packet request. But the problem is linux, it's so dificult to create application on it . So i want to get the SQUID into windows.
I have read article in here provide by Jesus O, about Packet Filter API, and Sniffer article, i want to combine it both, but the problem is how to block or reject the request, not block the IP address. For example if someone request :
http://ww.somewhere.com/somefile.mov
Then we put filter of file (not filtering IP address). For this we filter any file that have extension *.mov, then the request above will be rejected.
How can we make that, i hope anyone can help.

for my project work, I need help with sample code..
1) 5 students to input on one program (5 items per record, where 2 are key items)
2) should have a small menu (input, change, delete, report & exit)
3) codes to store input data in a single file at server
4) simultaneously access server to retrieve data on key items
project can be : student marks, books library, cinema name/artists, or any thing you feel comfortable

If you can afford USD 40 or so per hour, there would be many takers here. For cheaper rates try RAC (Rent a Coder).

Google is your friend. And neither of these questions belong here
1. MFC is the microsoft foundation classes, a framework for C++ windows apps
2. That depends on what compiler you're using, but the web is full of examples.

I would recomend ADO. If u are using vc++ 6 (i.e.) there is a component dll file called msado15.dll, which is the stuff u need. U might want to check out http://www.codeguru.com/cpp/data/mfc_database/ado/article.php/c6729/, after squizing the best out of google

Hi,
The company I work for has desided for new version of Visual Studio  and recompile all source code in C++/CLI . But a lot of thinks are difference . Don't you know if Microsoft has shipped some convertion tool ? Or anything but not like Ctrl+H ?

Stan Lippman mentioned this tool in one of his C++/CLI articles, but again it has not been released as of now. See his article on the subject.[^]: " In addition, a source to source translation tool (mscfront) is under development and may be provided with the release of the C++/CLI language for those who wish for help in automating the migration of their V1 code to the new language design."
