i always thought deriving from all the stl - classes is plain bad, because their destructor ist not virtual?
didn't you ever shoot yourself in the foot with this?

well.. most of the articles said that the problem could occur just occasionally.. but you say you use it all the time and had never problems? lucky you..

my opinion toward mi..
i prefer containment.. but sometimes it is essential.. and makes sense.. and then i use it..
