Those sort of UI components do not exist in VS, they are custom written. So, you'll need to find a component that does it, not a tutorial showing you how to do it.

Put a control on the edge of the area you want to hide, and use the Width property of your form to show/hide it based on the position of this control. A panel or something, maybe a label with no text ? It's a place holder. Then you need to also make your form a fixed size so the user does not maximise it.
