I need to develop an application that can make/receive calls using SIP protocol.
I don't have experience in realtime communication applications..

However, you have to read and understand the SIP specs ().

I think that once you have familiarity with the SIP protocols, the hard piece of work is to capture the sound and incapsulate it on one side, on the other side you have to playback the received sound...
Regarding capture/playback there are some good articles in CodeProjects: perform a little search. I believe there is some kind of library including all necessary tools to record and playback waveform files.
Personally I don't know much about VoIP, but I strongly suggest you to find some library, because implementing a complete High-level protocol (such as SIP) could require months of work, especially the audio codecs implementation!
Even a *simple* protocol such as POP3, isn't so much simple to implement...

For me it was a good start to learn more about SIP.

The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached from connecting from DotNetNuke to SQl Server 2000.

Hello,
I'm using a treeview and I have selected several nodes.
Now I'd like to clear those node selections so that there are no nodes selected in the treeview.
The only way I've found to do this is to reload the treeview with the object, which sets it back to original state. But there's got to be a better way.
Anyone have any ideas?

As far as I know, a treeview can only have one selected node, which you can retrieve with the SelectedNode property.
Therefore, I'm not sure what are you refering to when you say that you have selected *several* nodes - maybe checked, like if the treeview is set to diplay checkboxes, and you refer to the checked nodes?
Anyways, if you want to "deselect" the one and only node that could be selected in a treeview, try setting the SelectedNode property to null.
Otherwise, if you want to "uncheck" any checked node, you must navigate the nodes, say recursively, and set the Checked property of each node to false.
Assuming you have a treeview named treeView in your form, create a method called setCheck and call it from wherever you want to perform the clearing of checked nodes (or checking them for that matter):

This happens on an application that uses a library that uses Web Services.
And i allready made debugging of the problem, the error comes when calling
the web services.
This occurs in the emulator of VS2003 and in the Pocket Pc.
Both library and application where built on C#.
I reall don't what to do anymore.

I am working with Sockets – I find this interesting, and I would call it a bug. It seems odd that the bytes that comes from GetAddressBytes is not valid for creating a new address given the prototype for it is the same. (A System.ArgumentException is thrown) let me know if you find this odd, a bug or if I am just not understanding how to use this interface correctly.

I am using System.Management.Managementobjectsearcher in C# to read processor Number. Internally it uses COM objects.
So it gives error that System.Runtime.Interopservices.COMException and error message is Com object is not registerd.
This error comes only in windows98. It works well with 2000,xp,2003 etc...
So tell me how to solve this error..

I think the error message speaks for itself. You're trying to create a COM object (you didn't say which one) that isn't registered on the machine.
Either the .DLL that supplies this object isn't registered properly, or you're assuming that the machine has whatever COM .DLL you need and has it registered, when in fact it doesn't. You could also be trying to create a COM object that doesn't have the version you need installed on the machine.

Why is it that oftentimes the SubTypes of my forms/usercontrols in the .csproj file are changed from SubType="Form" or "UserControl" --to-> SubType="Code" ? It's annoying as I need to open the .csproj in a text editor and manually change everything again from "Code" to "Form"/"UserControl"

I have the SystemMonitor ActiveX control on a form and I try to register a custom performance counter.
I expect that after registering the counter with the OS, the user would be able to add it through this System Monitor ActiveX control on the form.
Yet, the Add dialog of this ActiveX does NOT contain the already registered counter.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?

BTW if I have the code that registers the counter in a separate executable, then the ActiveX has my counter. But if they're in one and the same executable, the ActiveX doesn't have it !?!

I have an MFC MDI application in VC++ which is active document server application which allows opening document in container like internet explorer.
Is it possible to create the active document server application using .NET framework and allow to open document in internet explorer?
Any tips on the same will be helpful.
