Can someone help me convert the following VB code to VC++? Confused | :confused:

BUT this won't help you unless you have the pd object and the func_name method visible in the class.

What are you trying to do ?

What are you trying to do ?

My groupmate and I were asked to create an application that would expand the functionality of our "PDxx" debugger. We will link this application with the debugger. This code is a brief description of sym_get_func_name method.

OK, then there is one method call only, and your initial code sample had errors in it ? That means a small change, nothing major. Did the code I gave you solve your problem ?

No, it didn't solve our problems yet. As of now, this code would be enough for our first stage of analysis. From this code we will construct our demo application.

I was required to write a programming using dos to generate. I now do know how to start to write the client programming. My supervisor have told me that need to do initialize and client, then also initialize and server. But I do not know how to start, can help me... Frown | :(

I'm sorry, I understand that English is not your first language, and there's nothing wrong with that. But I honestly have no idea what you're asking, could you try to word it differently, so perhaps it will be easier for people to help you ?

While English is highly popular in that country, isn't there a chance he speaks Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil instead as his native tongue? Just asking...

Yes, everyone has their own native language and probably speaks the most with. English here is taught at a very young age so i would think one should be able to write comprehensible sentences even though there may be grammatical errors. Just my opinion. Smile | :)

I'm astounded at how many 'supervisors' ask people to write stuff they have no idea about, and don't provide mentoring or resources beyond a PC connected to the web...

Thats the general practice, I can see two reason behind it Either they simply try to Save there Neck or else they want to make them (Read Junior) self dependent!

Self dependant is a long way from knowing how to do things right. IMO the reason is that they know people who have the skills will answer the questions online for free !!

Yeah, I think next year I'll plan to go a month early, if Maiden do Ozzfest again. Now that Ozzy won't do it, I reckon they'll need Maiden AND Priest to make it worthwhile.
