Kind of complicated because you have to get the location of the My Documents folder from the shell. The following is the code for a simple form with a single brows button that finds the My Documents folder and opens a file dialog to that folder.
You should break out the shell code into a module so you can reuse it. I just included it in a form so you can cut and paste until you understand how it works. Create a form, add a button - btnBrowse and a FileDialog control, and the add the code as follows:

Thanks, did not know about the Environment class. NET 2002 contains no support for the folder browser, so I accustomed to doing everything with the the shell APIs.

If you want to get the number of items present in the array you can use UBound(ArrName)

you defined your array by redim.
In there you assigned the size by using the variable.
I would check the variable to get the size of the array
note that indexing starts at 0, so if you assign 5 to the variable, the size of the array is 6.
So in general: The size of your array is "variable+1".

Hi
I am currently trying to open an excel file using System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("ExcelFileName").
It works correctly in general, but if the installed machine
has excel 2000, it opens excel but the file never opens
and the cells are empty. Is this a bug with Office 2000?
What can be done?

I am trying to create a form with the following
attributes:
1. A sizable border
2. Close button
3. No icon in the upper left hand corner
All of this can be accomplished using the Sizable
FormBorderStyle, but the icon remains. Does anyone know how to do this?

IIRC, since the form is sizable, you can't get rid of the icon using properties. I think your going to have to owner draw the title bar of the form. I DON'T have any example code, nor do I know of any. But, in theory, it's possible to do. Look into overriding WndProc and handling the WM_NCPAINT message.

The only ones that support no icon in the upper left corner are the ToolWindows and None borders.

If you just don't want to see an icon, the simplest way is to just create a transparent 16x16 icon file and select that for the form's icon. Of course the title will still be offset the same, and the drop down menu will appear if the user clicks in the space.
If you want to get rid of all those, you'll have to custom draw the title area. But if you just want a no icon appearance, a transparent icon is far easier.
