Well you can use JScript.Ecode[^] (MSDN[^])but that really isn't very secure because anyone can decode it using the utility that is free from MS.
Once your JScript is encoded just set the Type on the script tag to "JScript.Encode"
But it will stop your know nothing users from getting the source of your JScript.
You should also put all your JS in a separate file and include it ... just another step for someone to decode it.
Another option would be to use AJAX to load all of your scripts and stuff, that way if the user views source they will only see the content that was originally sent to the browser and not anything AJAX has loaded.
The AJAX method is the best in my opinion but it could cause you to have to re-write your entire project to get rendered this way (read as PAIN IN THE A$$)

My computer is affected by a virus 'regsvr.exe' which slows down the machine by eating proccessors time. I have to explicitly kill it from the process tab in the task manager.
For this reason i want to create a executiable that would kill its process. Also specify how to put my executiable in the startup menu.

Why not just clean the virus off your machine?  and remember to practice safe computing in the future.

You can use this:
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("tskill", "regsvr");<
But it much beter to use anti-virus to remove the virus or any other viruses.

I don't have a anti-virus software installed currently and the virus is not letting the anti-virus software install one.

i just wanted guidelines not the exact code .
i made a rough layout to achive this is generate a Xml equivelent file at bckend Which store all information about The Window form as the operation perform With form
but i have no idea Where to Write Xml Parsing file

try this:
first, copy what you selected to Clipboard.
second, paste it to web equivelent form.

Hey All,
I know this is the C# forum, but there isn't a Crystal forum.
I am building a very simple report in a table format but i need the details section to repeat (even with empty data) to the end of the page.
For example;
If only 3 records are returned from the database I need empty rows to fill the rest of the page until the page / report footer.
I have tried setting the "Print at bottom of page" on the report footer, but all it does is stretch the last details section to the bottom of the page (not repeating but stretching) so the whole table look goes out the window and I'm left with an ugly report.
Any help or input will be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah, I'm using the report designer in Visual Studio 2008 so I think it's Crystal X but all it says in about is "Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2008" so i could be wrong.

Vs2005 .net v2
Hi I have a number of windows client applications which use web services to send and receive data.
When a client starts it could be active for 5 minutes or 5 hours..
When the client first loads it instanciates a web service and calls its methods the client could make hundreds of calls to various web service methods.
- this instanciation remains until the user logs out of the client.
So the client instanciates the web service only once - is this the correct way or should I be instanciating the web service before every method call then clearing up? - and would there be a substancial performance hit this way?
The problem im getting is that the web service occasionally hangs (for all clients) and I have to recycle the app pool to get it running again.

Overall, reusing the item seems to make sense to me, so long as it doesn't leak memory. Does it always take a long time to hang ? Perhaps it is leaking resources ?

In my opinion:
1） a client instanciatees a 'web service's proxy class' object only once.
2) once the client connect the web serivce( calls a method), it will instanciate a 'socket' object(or 'networkstream' object, to send 'cmd' and get the result from the web serivce), and when get the result datas, the 'socket' will be cleared up by framework2.0.
3) so 'web service's proxy' object is once, 'socket' objects are several times, when a method called.
