Hi,
Would anyone know or have a link on how to download a webpage that is processed via Javascript?
Downloading simple HTML is easy, but as Ajax becomes more the norm and components are downloaded separatly, is there anyway I could do this?
Take this page for example, looking at the source, theres no content even though it appears in your browser.

Well, you can get access to any source that's in the main page, or find links to download js files. In fact, client side processing is more accessible than server side ( which is not accessible at all ). But, without the server side, you can't ever download a site and use it offline.

I understand what your saying but if your web browser is able to download a webpage and process the javascript, why shouldn't it be possible?
All I want to do is get the final version of the rendered page.

Because the HTML is going to perform postbacks and change it's state based on server actions. So long as you avoid those, and any AJAX calls, then it should work fine.

Hi,
I am using a 3rd party dll in my C# windows application but when I instanciate the class in the dll to use it gives me an error:
"Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {5F38F734-9DAC-11D1-B5C7-0060083B07C8} failed due to the following error: 80040154".
Can anyone tell me how do I get passed this one? I ran Regsvr32 and I have searched for the abovementioned CLSID in the registry but there's no such entry in the registry.
PLEASE HELP!!

I don't understand. What other method ? You stop execution of any method by logic that returns from it, or avoids it.
You should not catch ANY exception and just ignore it. If you have a specific exception you're willing to catch and ignore, catch that type only.

No, a bool cannot be null.
I still don't get it. If an exception is thrown, then you need to write code so that your return value is what you want it to be. If you need to write code to check if a class is null, then you need to write it.

Look at the Process class. You can use tne Start method on the Process class to start the external application.

Is this application converted from vb6 to .Net?
Do you receive the mentioned error on all the machines or just this specific?

I have created parameter fields in Crystal Reports using Field Explorer, and everytime I execute my program, a prompt appears asking for the parameter values.........instead I want it to be loaded directly from the user defined Combobox selection...........pls help..........TIA

It's hard to work out hwat you're asking here. Do you want to show one record per page ? Do you want to create a grid without using the control ( and if so, why ) ?
Once you've called your data source, be it access or whatever, you can display your data any way you want. What is it you're looking for here ?
