In particular, I want to take a 3D model of an object and display it on my app using directx. Also, I want to feed that model X,Y,Z values and have it rotate itself respectively. Can somebody point me to an example or something that does something link this? Also, I don't know how to make my "model" either, i'd be happy if it was just a square. Do I create it in some 3d app and then load that file into directx? For example, say I have a square model.
