For your second question
Yes, you have to create the primary key, otherwise you cannot update the database, but you can read data. If you already created the primary key, no need to check it. One day same problem happened to me when I didn’t crate the primary key.

Can you have 1.1 and visual studio 2003 and 2.0 and visual studio 2005 on one machine without everything going wonky?

Yes. Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 can coexist on the same machine.

i have a problem with vb.net 2005.
when set localization = true on a form and add databinding to textbox.text and write on load_form event
fill(dataset) i can see my data )( my database has data)
and when change the property localization = false
i can see my data
some body help me

It's virtually impossible for anyone to provide an answer based on this, unless that's the message you get when .NET 2.0 is not installed on the target machine.

Does your app do any sort of error logging ? Perhaps you should add some.

I suggest that you look this up on http://support.microsoft.com[^].

Here's a good starting point. I've found a bunch of hits having this error message.

They suggest that this could happen if the exe (or the exe in memory) has become corrupted. Possibly due to faulty hardware?
My recommendation is to try running this app on a different PC and try to reproduce the same issue.

"ReDim Preserve" will do this for you. For example:

Dim myArray() As Integer = {5, 10, 15}<br />
ReDim Preserve myArray(3)<br />
myArray(3) = 20

Hi,

In my new project(VS2005) i want to create a datagridview and in that view
a new datagridview!
But i don't know where to start

I know i have to use some sort of relationship with the dataset, but i don't know the rest!
I want to display a row With in front of the row a + (Like in Explorer)
which you can expand (-) and see for this new a new datagridview inside the other with the child
rows.
Example :

Row 1 --> Customer, name, ...
Row a --> orderid, item,...
Row b --> orderid, item,...
Row 2 --> customer, name, ...

Does anybody have an example or an article about this

is there any easy way to paint a column header?

if not i will set UseItemStyleForSubItems of listviewitems for specific subitems that located at the columnheader which i want to paint;then set backcolor of that subitem to any color.

How can i override readonly property of Text Box

Public Overrides Property [ReadOnly]() As Boolean -- this doesnt work it says it is not overridable.
Is there any other method except controlling keypress,keyup,keydown events?

To answer ur question,yes i'm updating my database.I have been trying to use the ".preview" function i.e
datareport1.preview (but there's no such function I can only get .show function)
Can you also plz show me how to convert a datareport into a PDF file and save it or how i can manupulate the exporting facility on datareports to enable exportin to PDF
