Hi,
IIS is not included in XPHome. But you can make a series of changes in some of your system files and can install IIS.
Search on google, there r many links for it. I did the same thing for my laptop. I copied IIS dll from windows 2000 server, then had to make some changes in system files. ( I dont remember that)...But there r quite a number of links on net.
But keep the copies of the original system files so in case u need to revert back.
Thanks

I'm trying to write an SQL statement which checks if a field from the DB, which is a Chechbox, is checked. I have this but it won't work:
SELECT *
FROM ProductCat
WHERE ProductActive = True
ORDER BY Part_Number
"ProductActive" is the field in my DB (MSAccess) which includes a checkbox.
Thank you!

Standard question #1:
What do you mean by "not working"?
In SQL, use the value 0 or 1 for boolean values. True should also work in Access, as it is a constant defined to the value 1. Try this, anyway:
SELECT *
FROM ProductCat
WHERE ProductActive = 1
ORDER BY Part_Number
---
b { font-weight: normal; }

The SQL will list some products only if the checkbox is checked in AccessDB. If it's not, the product will not be listed.
In fact, my true SQL Statement is:
SELECT *
FROM ProductCat
WHERE Keywords LIKE '%MMColParam%' or Part_Category LIKE '%MMColParam%' or Part_Name LIKE '%MMColParam%' and ProductActive = 1
ORDER BY Part_Number
..and I remember something like using brackets because of the multiple "or" and "and"....It's been so long!
To answer your question #1, not working means the product that's not supposed to be listed, is listed...

Nice... How do you think that someone could find the error in your query when you show some other query...
The and operator har higher precedence than the or operator, so you have to do like this:
SELECT *<br />
FROM ProductCat<br />
WHERE (Keywords LIKE '%MMColParam%' or Part_Category LIKE '%MMColParam%' or Part_Name LIKE '%MMColParam%') and ProductActive = 1<br />
ORDER BY Part_Number
---
b { font-weight: normal; }

I am working on a project that is like a small course. You read the first couple of slides and then answer Multiple choice questions at the end. The project can be done in multiple ways. I am trying to do this in 2 webforms!!! 1 for all the slides and the second one for the questions.
The thing is - the title and the Back & Next buttons stay consistent in every slide. The only thing that changes is the main content (slide info). Is there a way to load THAT content dynamically, ie, after clicking back or next. Instead of creating webforms for each page.
I was wondering if I could use HTML or XML to read the slide contents from a file and then display them keeping the title and back/next link buttons consistent. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do not double post.
If you really think that you need the question in both categories, just post a reference to the original post in this category.

Looks like the object that has that name is not registered as a COM object on your server.

The error means your code expects a COM object that is not registered on the server. It's obviously registered on your machine. If you know the path to the exe in question, go to that directory in the console and type regsvr32 yourfile.dll and you'll get a message to say if it could be registered.

Occasionally when I click on a link in an Outlook Express mail and IE launches, IE hangs.
If I kill IE and repeat the operation it works OK. I think this only happened after moving to SP2. I have all patches applied (except for yesterday's).
Any ideas?

Hi,
I want to implement google suggest technology(listing down the relevant names as and when the user types) in my J2ee application.
I know that we can implement this using simple Javascript.
But google suggest technolgy uses AJAX for this.
Which one will be the best solution to implement .Is it using Javascript or AJAX?
AJAX is very complicated to implement.
Pls suggest

bOTH vb or vc's activeX r capable of self registering. U just need to create the cab version of your activeX (OCX) ... i think u should know the cab version... for exceptional cases i m informing you that..whenever you create the setup of any project, that setup creater also has options like u want setup or cab version... so create the cab version of your ocx. cab versions automatically downloaded to the visitor and then registered automatically..oh yes u also need to write tag of the cab of ocx version inwhich page u need that control.
