You can create a mailto: tag that opens the default mail program. You can't embed Outlook inside your web page, you may be able to prepopulate the email with HTML that renders the way you want it to.

You cannot do that with ASP.NET DropDownList control. May be your can use custom controls (JavaScript DropDownLists???).

Is there any option to call internet explorers button from asp.net

Every day, I wonder why so many people use ASP.NET, but do not understand it. ASP.NET runs on the server. The only code you can run on the client is javascript. What button do you want to push ? You probably can't, but you can do things like go back a page, in javascript.

True. Sometimes is just irritating. People don't read books and expect some one to do their work.

This is a bad idea. There are inbuilt methods to escape special characters which follows URL encoding rules. Look into Server.URLEncode[^] method.

Navaneeth,
URL encoding converts characters that are not allowed in a URL into character-entity equivalents; URL decoding reverses the encoding. For example, when embedded in a block of text to be transmitted in a URL, the characters < and > are encoded as %3c and %3d. For reference, Click here[^].
May be your solution help him out for this time. But this too very bad idea. Say, he has insert few record in his table, tomorrow some of his other application (other technology, Java) is going to use the same table, he has search for equivalent method to do UrlDecode. Or if he want to fetch data directly from database, he has to manually replace the Url encoded value with the original character.
The right solution is to use Paramaters rather than sql injection. The Parameter ojects automatically take cares this situations.

Ohhh you are out of topic. Read the original post. It's not a SQL query, he is asking on query string.

Hi every one
I am facing a problem in my current project. The problem is I am unable to use RegisterStartupscript with the Update panel. The script does not run and I am unable to see it in the view source . These are the codes which i have tried.
ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(this, this.GetType(), "Success", builder.ToString(), false);
up->updatepanel
ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(up1, up1.GetType(), "hello", "alert('Hello!')", true);
ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), argScriptId, builder.ToString(),true);
These all I have tried but nothing seems to be working. however If i remove the updatepanel then I am able to see the script in view source. and the code is running fine. Please send me the solution if any one have.

This would work only if the Page postbacks. But in AJAX, no postbask is going to happen.
You have try with Client Scripting provided by the Script Manager like,
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_beginRequest(funcBeginRequest);
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest(funcEndRequest);
function funcBeginRequest(){
}
function funcEndRequest(){
}
Similarly for Page onload (StartupScript) can also be handler using add_pageLoad() method.
Refer Client Scripting help in www.asp.net

Hi Venkat,
Here i am getting confused, even if you are using ajax postback is going to heppen it will go to page load and you can see isPostback property that will show you true ...
In what sence you are saying that postback is not going to happen ?
Thanks and Regards
Sandeep

Hi Sandeep,
You are talking about Server-side Page Load. But I mentioned the Client Side page load (onload event), since the StartupScript is going to do the same.
