Hello Techies,

I want to add Blogs like content management facility in Asp.Net web site.
So I tried WordPress with IIS AND

I've been struggling to install WordPress on my local server using the WP DB Abstraction plug-in and MS SQL Server 2008 R2. I followed the instructions to the letter from WordPress.org.

But at the final step I am not getting the required page to configure SQL db to PHP.
I confirmed the all basic things; Do any one help me???????

Anybody tell me 1) Any other suggestions OR 2) A correct troubleshooting process.
There are just so many variables that could go wrong (Database, Webserver, PHP, directory permissions, Abstraction files etc) and I can't seem to narrow it down. I've been trying for days and searching for answers too (Yeah, Famous 5-minute install...not for me!)

Any type of help should be appreciate....

Thanks in advance.

Wordpress is PHP, not ASP.NET. You can't convert SQL to PHP. Do you mean SQL Server ? Wordpress likes MySQL, which is also a RDBMS. PHP, is not.

Wordpress is great for creating a quick website. It's horrible for developers who know ASP.NET and would like to code on their site.
