I just saw these links and they are exactly what people need. And frankly these look so much better than the earlier version.
With each passing day the new design looks more and more awesome(perhaps because it is being improved constantly).

Some heading colours are grey (> level 2) instead of the orange or green which makes reading articles difficult.

Now I noticed the same behaviour. The article has had 9 votes for a longer period of time and it got upvoted within an hour. However, the voting count still shows 9.
Don't know if this has anything to do with this, but every now and then when I search for articles and browse them, the link opens a previous version of the article. In the top there's a note that it is an older version to currently released article. I've never paid much attention to it but could it be that if the vote goes to previous version, it's not counted in the same way? Just a wild guess

As I mentioned in the previous post, articles and their ratings get cached. You may have been seeing an old cached version.

If someone has a new version of an article pending then the older (currently available) article will show this message and a link to the new version. You have enough rep to see both available and non-public pending articles

I waited for awhile to exclude the effect from caching
When I wrote this thread on 20 Sep '12 the number of votes was 9 and currently the number of votes is still the same so it looks like the vote isn't counted for some reason.

Had a quick scan and couldn't find this, but if it's a repost feel free to squish it.
The voting starts are weird. When I open a question, outline stars 2 - 5 are visible. If I mouse over as if to vote, filled stars 1 - n show.
On answers, outline star 1 is there, but the green background around the votes on accepted answers comes and goes unexpectedly.

Is this still happening? Can you try a Ctrl+F5 to get an uncached reload? Some of the graphics have changed

Taking this one[^] as an example:
FF 15.0.1 w/dev tools, fresh load, cache cleared.
Question shows outline star 5, hover shows bargraph and potential vote filled stars.
Accepted solutions show no stars on a white background within green bar, hover as for question but also fills in green background.
Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m, fresh load, cached cleared.
As the page loads, the question voting area shows some ?radio buttons? momentarily, then the "missing image" icon. When I mouse over it (to go to inspect source) it goes to the same mouseover behaviour as FF.
Answers likewise, with background greening like FF.
[update: did ctrl-F5 in FF and it has the same transient behaviour. Too quick for my eyes to say exactly what happens.]

Ironic that one of our more recently "active" members has updated an ancient question, uppercasing two instances of the first person pronoun and not correcting 'there' to 'their' for 3rd person posessive.

A lot better, but not quite.
All good except for white background around stars in accepted answer. Turns green (good) on hover.

The CP points just appear to big. Maybe the font size can be reduce a tad.

Will be helpful if there is an option to switch back to older version. Like how we have in Gmail and gradually remove the switch back option.

That isn't going to happen - and for very good reasons. If you have two stylesheets, then that's two things you have to maintain as the site changes and new functionality is added.

Not true - those on the old style don't want new functionality, no need to include it for them!

On the whole I like the new look: clean, less dense, but I must join with JSOP and Ravi B. on two issues: ... I'm paraphrasing their remarks here:
1. your using a lighter color for body-text is hard on my older eyes. JSOP
For Post body-text: examined at 3200% in PhotoShop: it's composed of a veritable rainbow of colors. Segoe UI 14 points ?
For Post Titles: it appears you are using a slightly bluish #006699, anti-aliased with an orange #ffd28c, and a blue #8cd2ff, on pure white background #ffffff. Segoe UI family font, perhaps a 14 point Bold ? That's reasonable to me even thought I think there are better colors to anti-alias with.
2. the "leading" (vertical space between sub-title lines, baseline-to-baseline) is a little too extreme. Ravi B.
Well, it looks to me like you are using normal line-height, in your CSS, but I am measuring it as 20 pixels baseline-to-baseine which seems off. The expected leading, which would still appear "spacious," imho would be about 16-18.
The Post Titles I can "live with," but the body text is really difficult to read without increasing my browser's zoom level.
Please consider using darker body text, and slight decrease, across the board in vertical spacing of all elements. I think you can have this slight vertical decrease without losing the "newer, more spacious" look, which is very pleasant.
In any case: change in format, from time to time, imho, is a good thing !

When you drop down the "Community" menu, the "Non-English Language" menu item seems to have a couple of flaws (I say "flaws" since they are a tiny bugs).
- Compared to the other menus with items that have sub-menus, this one appears to be aligned a bit too far to the left.
- When you hover you mouse over this item, the whole line turns orange (no visible text) and when you move the mouse into its sub-menu, you realize it is because the text color has changed to orange (on white). This is different from the other menus that have items with sub-menus.
Note: It seems like this gets corrected if you drop down one of the other menus (like "Articles") and move into one of the sub-menus, then go back to the "Community" menu. Sometimes the "Non-English Language" item is active (which actually also would appear to be a bug since the mouse is not hovering over any items in the menu) and correctly displayed as white on orange.
I am using IE8 on WinXP SP3, in case that matters.
