Unable to add data connection. the given key was not present in the dictionary

Hi All,

I want to connect with database but when I clicked on add connection the message-box shows -
"Unable to add data connection. the given key was not present in the dictionary"

Please help me to add data connection.

I am using SQL Server 2008 R2 and Visual Studio 2010 Premium.

Not clear for me, what database? can post some code here where you exactly getting the error.

IT would help to know what you're doing this in, what framework, etc, and to see where your data connection is defined.

Having said that, when I get an error message I don't understand or cannot resolve, I do this[^] to find out what is wrong and how to fix it.
