My bad, I didn't reflect on the fact that it was a method, not a class. Just put the inheritance on the class, and name the methods the same as the interface methods they implement.

you have to implement the interface in the class definition i.e

public class myclass : DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.IPortable

then implement all methodes and properties from this interface
in your class

Hello,

I am using an ActiveX control in my form application of C#.
I want that this application should be restricted up to UI support only and all the operation(like Drawing) on this ActiveX control should be handled by a separate ClassLibrary application.

To obtain this i took a global object of ActiveX control in my class library application and initialised it in the FormLoad() of C# form application.

But it is saying a type mismatching in assigning the object.

Please help me to come out of the problem or if u can suggest any other way to fulfill the requirement, i ll appreciate it.

Hi,
i have one class i compiled.In file dialog all the dll's of different classes are there if i choose one dll then the corresponding class name and all its public methods should be displayed then it will show all the public methods is it posible, if posible how can we achive this in c#

SQL database : Updating all .MDF in my computer.

Hello,
I have made my application with SQL Server 2005 Express (C# Windows Application.) . Now, I have made a copy of the application in different folder and I copied the .MDF file and Now When I run that application, I do some change in the .mdf database and I close. After that, when I open another version of the application which is located in different folder, I see that, the .MDF database is updated with the changes I made in the other version of the application even though I copied another instance of the .MDF file in that directory. Why is this happening ? Cant I isolate all .MDF files so that one database is not being affected by others ?

Hello everybody

Please help me and suggest me on my problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Actually I have a windows application(Devloped in asp.net 2005) connected with the remote databse (sql server 2005)..which I can access through the internet………………….

The requirement now is to secure my data in between ..that is the transportation of data should be secure ..so that no one can access it in between the network..

I know that sql server provide security to encrypt the data but I need the data security in the network. is it possible by some ways?

I hope u got the point…

I want to create an application from a source, but the source is on Java language. For Windows application I just reference into vjslib.dll (Contains all Java functions), but in mobile we can not reference to this library because the application will be large. So I just need the compact that contains java hashtable, vector, thread, etc. If you confuse what I want to make, I just want to convert the TinyOS and TinyDB library (that library written on Java), to convert that library is easy but both sometime have a variable typed on Java like hashtable, vector, etc.

Simple mind programmers, I don't need a complicated mind.

Hi,

I see you posted a question a few years ago regarding using vjslib.dll in a Windows App. I am looking into unzipping a file on a scanner using Windows CE and am running into a size issue. I was using the vjslib.dll in my C# application but I am looking for the equivalent dll in the Compact 2.0 framework. Did you ever resolve this issue?

There's no resolve for this, I just write/convert manually javacode into C# code using Compact Framework 2.0. It's look like Microsoft stop developing J# platform.

Hi everybody,
I want to call a secure web page through desktop application. Though .net automatically validates it but i want to get the exact status of error. In previous version certificatePolicy property of ServicePointManager was used for this purpose but now it is obsoleted. They have provided another function ServerCertificateValidationCallback but when I reach at the statement, it gives an error :

"System.Security.SecurityException: Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed."

Hey experts, nobody have answer of my problem?

What do you mean with 'contents'? The code? You can surely fetch the IL code but this probably won't help you much. There also (complicated) ways to transform it back to C# code but it will never look exactly like the original code.
