Thanks for reply.You told me that as javascript is in client side,i canot call them from server side.But i have called a client side javascript from serverside previously in synchronous postback by using Page.RegisterStartupScript() method.

Hi,
This can be accomplished by using BeginRequest and EndRequest methods
of PageRequestManager during asyncpostback.
Sample:

I am curently developing an client side application that is comsuming a web service method using WSE 2.0. The <to> header is different from the http request url because there is a security device between the client and server that changes the <to> header by appending some random string based on the session. Previoulsly this was working because the web server was not using WSE 2.0.
Is there any way that this can be disabled on the server?

I am developing a website, which Contains Around 15 webpages. In Each page (Using MasterPage), it's having top menu (Not ASP.Net Menu Control, Only Html Anchor tags), left menu, and Right Menu. All menu items r Anchor Tags, not ASP.Net Menu Control. Right Side Menu Contents will be Changed Accoring to Page by Page. Right Now what I am Doing is,Right Menu Contents r In an ASP:ContentPlaceHolder. and Whenever Right Menu has to changed, On a Particular page, I am Overriding the MasterPage ASP:ContentPlaceHolder with Page's Design. it's working Fine.
But is this can be achieved, in any other way...
please give ur suggestions.......

i am creating a site in multilanguages using moss..
in the variation labels ..i have created the two lables...one is English(source language) and other one is chinese...
what ever the content i am writing in the english(nothing but source)..it is publishing in chinese..up to this it is okay...
after some time i wil edit the data in chinese and here again i dont want any updations from the English..means i need the chinese data should be remains same if we enter the data in english version also...
for this what can i do?

Hi All,
pls i will need ur professional assistance to the challenge I am facing. I have a databae driven website, all contents are stored in the database... but anytime I make changes from my cms tool it actually updates what I have in my mssql 2005 database but does not reflect it on my website.
but once I restart the server and checks the site then the update shows on the site.
I don't want to be restarting my system every time I make changes... kindly assist me pls on what to do.

Your best bet is to contact the vendor of the cms software to see how to clear the caches that seem to be in use.

I have used various objects of classes exposed by an VB6 API in my C# code. I am looking for some help to release those objects from the memory once the job of those objects is done. I have used those objects for multiple methods so how will my Dispose method work(if I write so). Please help me

Whatever theory I know about COM objects is that Its an unmanaged object. And unmanaged objects needs to be taken care of explicitely for memory reclaim.
Isnt it correct? If not please provide me some knowledge base which says so...

I´m developing a ASP.NET WEB application in Visual Studio 2008 (C#).
I'm trying to insert a standar control from the toolbox so I drag it (the control) from the toolbox to the design window. It doesn't works !!!
When I drag a HTML control from the toolbox it works but I need a standar control.
¿How can I insert one?

What does it mean? Control is not coming on screen ???
I think its an normal html page, not a aspx !!!

First of all, make sure you are having an asp.net webpage (.aspx).
Also, make sure you are dropping the control into the form runat="server" part of the page (if it is a master page or full web page, don't apply to web content forms).

Apart from moving the block of links to other forums from the top to the left, I can't see any difference... it's neater I suppose, though I miss the ability to see at a glance which forums have new postings in them, which the old way allowed...
