Do you think you are doing Sonia a favour by not teaching her how to solve problems for herself. One of the single most important skills you can have is to be able to think things through and solve them on your own. She has to learn how to do this. The sheer volume of posts that she has made in 6 months shows that she is not willing or able to problem solve. Do her a favour - certainly give her hints, but help her to learn problem solving.

I don't recall finding any other user this frustrating. People like MasterSharp, who start asking the basic questions and very obviously take the ball and run with it, make doing this worthwhile. People who obviously can't do their job and just keep asking us to do it, depress me.

She is setting a custom attribute, server side, and wants to read it client side.
I've never done stuff like this and am interested, so I am happily sitting here waiting for Pete to totally lose his cool, hammer the keys really hard, posting a perfect solution just to get rid of this post!;)

setting that line server side will result in an attribute being written to the output:
TextBox1.Attributes["myAttribute"] = "foo";
would result in
<textbox id="TextBox1" myAttribute="foo">
if you have a javascript reference to that textbox you can read the attribute back using the .attributes collection in DOM
var myAttributeValue = document.getElementById("TextBox1").attributes["myAttribute"];
I really hope this doesnt answer Sonia Gupta's question, whilst piqueing your curiosity.

Except that it won't be called TextBox1 on the client side, of course.
Wouldn't you also need innerText or something to get the value and not the whole attribute ?

It might be, assuming its not within an INamingContainer... but you're right chances are it wont be.

No, that JS returns the content of the attribute. erm... i think. Without testing it.

It would help then, if she used TextBox1.Attributes.Add("visible1", TextBox1.Visible.ToString()); to actually add the attribute. Uggghhh - TextBox1; I hate default names.
Then, this could be read by document.getElementById("TextBox1").attributes["visible1"];

Problem 1 - you're still using ridiculous variable names. Textbox1 ???
Problem 2 - you're still asking half questions that leave the impression that you've not read your book at all, and remain unwilling to work stuff out for yourself
Problem 3 - what on earth do you want to set such a property for anyhow ? If the server side visibile property is false, the control is not rendered at all.
Problem 4 - you have not told us what is happening - do you see an alert with nothing in it, with the wrong value, or do you get a crash ? If it crashes, what's the error ? For starters you should NEVER call getElementById and assume you got something other than null back, you should check.

I had implemented a code in the Image (Captcha).
In that, I need to show the Upper case letters in different font sizes(bigger/smaller).
Can it be possible to increase or decrease the size of the font in the image...
Please help me....

Yes, of course. Just generate different fonts to draw the text on the image, at different sizes.
