I have checked but there is no "Framework" folder inside the Microsoft.Net folder.
Its strange as i have no problems using VStudio 2005.

I am using asp.net2.0, sql 2005
I am storing Image url in database. through that url i would like to show images in gridview
I want to know is it possible to show images in gridview.
Please guide me or give me some useful link.

here is the code i used to create an image as a hyperlink in a gridview:-

The ImageSkinId is the field that was mapping during the databind()

Hi,
I am using the built in Health Monitoring and writing errors to the sql db ASPNETBD into the aspnet_webevent_webevents table. My problem is that the Details column in this table is empty? has anyone else has this problem?

Hi forum
I was wondering if you would be able to assist me I have a table where I have a template column with linkbuttons in each row, i want to be able to allow the users to click the edit button which will select the current record and then open a new form with the data from record to be populated into a text box where they can then press update record, once changed.
I am unsure how to code the method which will deal with the edit button click, to collect data and pass to edit page form
a lot of books tell you how to do the in place editing but, i don't like the way the update and cancel buttons appear upon clicking the edit button, as in some browsers it may then require the page to be made wider, which i feel is bad design
any suggestions would be appreciated

The VwdCms.CodeViewer is an ASP.NET server control that
automatically colorizes C#, HTML, ASPX, XML, and JavaScript code giving a similar "look and feel"
to the Visual Studio code editors.
The CodeViewer is based on 2 different code parsers 1) VwdCms.Html (an SGML parser that

Ok guys, so I clearly posted this in the wrong place and maybe it isn't an accident that CodeProject doesn't have a place for this kind of announcement - I can deal with that and obide by the rules.
My intention was to let people know about my new server control, not be a spammer. I make a point to contribute valuable articles and posts to CodeProject because it is a great community and I will continue to do so. I hope that the two of you (Pete and Richard) take into consideration the impact that you have on the overall community when you blast people for doing something that you deem as 'inappropriate behavior'. Kind words and advice (like Christian's post) are far more effective than abusive ones.

I m using Visual Studio 2005. How can I drag and Drop Table From Data Connection Node of Server Explorer to Form. I have done it n Visual Studio 2003. But I m not able to do this in 2005. Does VS 2005 does not support it, or ther s a special method for that.

Hmm, actually it work in VS 2005 exactly in the same way as in VS 2003.
I guess you have some special settings in Options???

After populating the grid, this is what I did in a similar situation:

Hi all,
can any please tell me how to find difference between two dates in a web application using Vb.net.
I used
diff1 = (CDate(day2).Subtract(CDate(day1)).TotalHours)
Label11.Text = diff2 & "hrs"
diff3 = (CDate(day3).Subtract(CDate(day2)).TotalHours)
Label12.Text = diff3 & "hrs"
Its working fine in the Local system without any conversion problems,but in a intranet its showing error
Conversion from string "13/04/2006 4:11:50 PM" to type 'Date' is not valid.
please give me suggestions

Hi
I would suggest looking at the date settings on the server, make sure that its set to the same date format as you are wanting to use.
As an aside take a look at the DateDiff function

Which will provide a much simpler implementation of your code.
