I agree. I'd assume that only those that answered the poll have any interest in Apple (development). I don't, so I didn't.

That's the point I made - I didn't answer the poll - but I did comment on it.

I was noting, using this as an example, that a poll with a restricted set of options can give (or be used to give) false impressions.

The relevance to me is not the subject - the possible misuse of data by, in the public forums of the world, skillfully crafted surveys to convey develop and convey false conclusions

However - your usual penchant to discredit my posts will predominate over 'figuring'.

Been all the weekend (not all of it, only a few hours) trying to figure out why changing a piece of code from display: none to display: block made the page to move left...

Checking the CSS, disabled code fragments to try to understand it...

The most strange was that in my laptop the behavior was different than in my external displays...

And suddenly I've understood the reason...

I've never seen, or heard of, a technology that's worse than CSS.
It's so bad I think we need to invent a new word to describe it.
Maybe CSS is just CSS and that says it all.

I'd rather develop a VB application with an Access database and Crystal Reports than type one cursed line of CSS that doesn't do what I intended anyway.

height: 100%; (CSS laughs at you, it doesn't do height unless EVERYTHING gets a height and then it'll mess up because you have some margin's or something!)
width: 50px; (CSS laughs at you again, maybe it does width, but only if all variables are exactly right.)
You want to stick something to the bottom of the page? HA HA HA YOU MORTAL FOOL! You'd best rewrite your entire HTML so you can apply exactly the required CSS to each element and ONLY that, for an extra div or an extra height property will damn you to heck!
Developing CSS is like playing D&D with a 20-sided die that only has 1's on it, but you don't notice so it seems as if you roll a critical miss every single time.
