Been all the weekend (not all of it, only a few hours) trying to figure out why changing a piece of code from display: none to display: block made the page to move left...
Checking the CSS, disabled code fragments to try to understand it...
The most strange was that in my laptop the behavior was different than in my external displays...
And suddenly I've understood the reason...
The ![Elephant | [mastadon]](https://codeproject.freetls.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/elephant.gif) ing vertical bar was appearing and disappearing depending on the length of the content... (yes, I know this happens, usually  )
Added this in my body CSS: overflow-y:scroll;

I've never seen, or heard of, a technology that's worse than CSS.
It's so bad I think we need to invent a new word to describe it.
Maybe CSS is just CSS and that says it all.
I'd rather develop a VB application with an Access database and Crystal Reports than type one cursed line of CSS that doesn't do what I intended anyway.
height: 100%; (CSS laughs at you, it doesn't do height unless EVERYTHING gets a height and then it'll mess up because you have some margin's or something!)
width: 50px; (CSS laughs at you again, maybe it does width, but only if all variables are exactly right.)
You want to stick something to the bottom of the page? HA HA HA YOU MORTAL FOOL! You'd best rewrite your entire HTML so you can apply exactly the required CSS to each element and ONLY that, for an extra div or an extra height property will damn you to heck!
Developing CSS is like playing D&D with a 20-sided die that only has 1's on it, but you don't notice so it seems as if you roll a critical miss every single time.

Excel has a keyboard shortcut for "copy the value from the cell above this": CTRL+SHIFT+DoubleQuote ANd it works fine - but it's a pain to use if you want "dup, tab, dup, tab, dup, tab" to fill a chunk of a row with the data from the row above and just fill in the bits that changed since yesterday.
So, I google for "Excel change shortcut key" and it tells me to use File...Settings...Customize the ribbon; Keyboard shortcuts.
So I do, and the button isn't there. Maybe that's an earlier version? Try another link. Same thing. And another ... turns out that works in Word, but ... you can't change keyboard shortcuts in Excel. Not at all. The official advice from MS is to "create a macro and assign it to a key". 
Consistency. Don't you just love it?
