I'm a little confused: I Googled on "CafePress Opportunity" (never heard that phrase before), which led me to: [^].

Eldest is studying a youtube video and taking lots of notes on keypress sequences, shell commands, github addresses etc etc. for how to install Ubuntu and office software onto her chromebook.
She just showed me a screenshot of a shell terminal and asked what it is. I showed her the windows equivalent and a few basic commands and she went a bit hyper... 
I am playing footy later, so dare say when I come home it will be a "Chromebook evening".
Oh, and in case you are wondering, she is 9.

Meanwhile here in Norway, one of the articles in one of the news papers are suggesting that drinking would improve the life quality of the youth (adress is bt.no , but it requires a paid subscription to view, just to show you that Im not kidding). 
9 would perhaps be 9 years too young to start on the bottle though

I'm not so sure about that.
I was bought up in Luxembourg and was given my first glass of wine with water at the age of eight.
I didn't particularly like it at the time, but later was bought cider and beer in the hot summers by my mother to drink with meals in my mid teens. I never drank alcohol outside of meal times or on my own and it was freely available.
It was a very healthy move, as I would say as an adult that I have a healthy relationship to alcohol.

To clear up what he meant, it is that young people is far to stressed out (botox, iPad, clodes, sport, school, and WTF not). If you cant really relax perhaps we could either
1) Change the society a little?
2) Start drinking at a younger age
or something along these lines...

Earlier today Google's malware filter was blocking[^] php.net. Apparently the site was[^] serving attack iframes at one point.
What's even more dangerous though is that if you visit the site you might consider coding in PHP.

I am getting a new phone later today, as my current 'texting' phone has started powering off randomly and battery life is getting worse. So, I will finally join the rest of the herd and get a smartphone. Any advice on which ones to avoid or which you would highly recommend? My needs are basic...phone, email, messaging, appointments, web browser. The phone will not be used for viewing cat videos or other such fluff and will be on wifi most of the time. The ability to run Office365 would be nice, but not a deal breaker. Suggestions?

Well I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and very happy with it... Not tried Office365 on it as don't have a subscription. But found the S-Pen useful for taking notes and that.

After the first 3 iPhones, a blackberry 9700 and at least 3 Android phones I took the plunge on a windows phone this year and have been VERY happy with it. (Nokia 920.)
With google's "we're everywhere in your life" antics of late I'm not turning back, though I've nothing against an iPhone.
