hi,
i am working on a asp.net project ,in which there is a need to upload a dovcument ,which will be converted to image.
the problem is i need to select a particular word or sentence to annotate.what i want to know is ,how can select a particluar area in a image , and identify the text.

I'm not sure what the other guy was saying, but you need an OCR library to find text in an image. Then you need to work out where that text is ( which is a different thing ) so you can highlight it. A far from trivial task.

I want that my query automatically runs in google and the output list of all the sites on first page get added to my sql database.
i am able to run my query get the output but dont know how to pull it into database.

Hi,
how does the output from google look? Do you have the concrete URL's or the content of the search results?
Somewhere in the code is the point where you have the result of the google query. There you have to implement a database access: Open the connection, building an insert command, executing the command and last but not least closing the connection.

Hi,
Actually i got data entered into a text box.
Send that data to google using a hyperlink to google.
In that fashion i got the second page from google ,its the normal search page you got when u submit ur query in google .

Hi,
I think you have to get the google page by sending an HTTP-Request programmatically. Then you are able to retrieve the response within your code. There you could extract all URLs and store them into a database.

it is easy to get the client IP-Address with

Request.ServerVariables["REMOTE_ADDR"]<br />
If the client pc is a part of your intranet than you could try to use DNS to resolve the computer name from the IP. If this is not the case, you could try to accomplish this by using JavaScript, to get the name on the client side and then send this information to your server.

I don't think so that you will able to retreive computer name. YoU will just get the IP Address.

this is my screen design, name is profitbook.aspx,profitbook is a bit easier, input directly from there, if there were any data from the database then it will be shown at the textbox,the calculate button is use for auto calculate, which means it auto take the price and times with the duration for that rows...
second 1 is
this 1 is record book, use for the room record, simple but i still figuring it out 
ok, the system for this page is:when i click the room button for example, s1,then the duation for the s1 textbox is input-able,for avoiding wrong inputing data, another hard part is the data also shown in the textbox and the status is shown "FULL" if there were a data for that room in the database,
the database i use is xml, i tried microsoft access and it was very hard....
help me please...

I had to do something similar to this at University. I did it myself, before such sites as CP or even Google. I aced it. Another member of the class asked me to help him and I did. But I soon realized he just wanted me to code it all for him, so I embedded enough bugs and ignored the requirements sufficiently such that he'd never ask me again.

i am using an upload control for uploading files to server in my application but it fails for large files of (780MB) are not uploaded by this control.so is there any size capacity for upload control in asp.net.if yes how can we increase it.

Default size for Fileupload is 4 MB. But you can configure it in web.config
in this way

Haven't you been asking this over and over ?
Even if you configure the control to accept a file that big ( and it's just a layer in ASP.NET, that rejects files above a certain size, at the end of the day, it's still just a HTML file control ), your server is going to almost certainly time out before it receives that big a file. That's not what HTTP is for. Why do you need to get a file that big.
