Sounds unreasonable, doesn't it?

Unreasonable? No, not a chance! Standard compensation for answering a dumb question or demand.

Surely this means you're not doing homework. Contact your client, tell them that the downside of outsourcing is that they will pick a low bid and end up dealing with someone who is totally clueless. Admit you lied, and give them their deposit back. Then, perhaps you won't go to hell when you die.

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this or even if this is to much to ask. If so sorry and I will not do it again. Below is the HTML output from an ASP gridview. I am using the css friendly browser. I have searched every where and can only find basic css articles. Can anyone either help me or point me in the right direction on making a proper css file for this gridview?
class="AspNet-GridView" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_GridViewCMInformation">

First Name

Last Name

Email

UserID

Password

The following code is not running, somehow, any idea why?
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
if (!Page.IsPostBack) {
Label1.Text = System.Guid.NewGuid().ToString();
}
}
2. I'm also getting 'This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.' When I run the solution. The solution includes a MasterPage and a webform named default.aspx that uses the MasterPage:
<%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/MasterPage.master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="_Default" %>

Which line is throwing error? Object reference not set to an instance of an object will come only when the object is not initialized. Step into the code and see which object is becoming NULL.

Loop through the data grid rows and get the values.

Are you not seeing an option in File menu?

When u using VS.net 2005 its better to use GridView rather than DataGrid, anyway i hope u have set value DataKeyNames (May be ID) in the GridView, by setting that value u can access particular object.
This answer is for question..
In the RowCommand of GridView
string _value=GridView1.Rows[int.Parse(e.CommandArgument.ToString())].Cells[1].Text.ToString();
i hope this will help u.

My problem is kind of javascript related thing I guess. I have this datalist stuff and On it there are some titles being read from database. its ok so far. But I have this link for each title so when a user clicks on that link (READ MORE link) there opens a new window above all windows and the news show up there.
I've used the code below in the OnClientClick event of my READ MORE link :
<asp:LinkButton ID="LinkButton4" runat="server"
CausesValidation="False" OnClientClick="windows.showModalDialog('news.aspx, titlebar="no", fullscreen="false", width="300", height="300", toolbar="no", resizable="false", menubar="no"');">read more</asp:LinkButton>
The qoueted part is a little problamatic I guess. I mean I used qouets, i removed them, I changed the captial letters and ... but no result.
If possible please give me the proper solution

The second argument to showModalDialog should be like this:
OnClientClick="windows.showModalDialog('news.aspx, 'menubar=0, scrollbars=1, resizable=1, toolbar =0, width = 390, height = 500');"

I have an asp gridview that is using a theme skin file. The theme is applied correctly to the gridview until I install the css friendly browser. Can anyone help?
Thanks,

I found out that when using css friendly browser you application will only use css for the controls. The browser will not allow for themes. This is what I was told. Please correct me if this is not true.
Thanks,
Steve

|

|
|
|
function change3() {
document.bgColor = "blue";
//document.getElementById('Image1').value = "hello";
document.getElementById('Image1').ImageUrl = "~/Ferrari/004.jpg";
document.getElementById('Image1').style.height = "170";
}
this is my code.
this is working in a simple webform which do not use master page.
but a webform which uses a master page does not execute it. it changes the bgColor but not the attributes of the control (image1 here).
