Give it a rest. You're both being immature.

It is for zipcode with only 5 digits.if u don't need any constraints,then u should go for compare validator and choose datatype as integer.

hi In my page,

I have one txtbox and one button

then

i have imageupload control and button

here i did required field validator..

my proble is if i click imageupload control button ,here txtbox is empty..here also required field validator working.

how i can prevent this?

hi sara,

this is coz u may b having required field validator 4 both text boxes.Hope on first button click, u want first text box to be validated and on second button click, u want fileupload control to be validated.To incorporate this, use validation group property with validator control and buttons.
set ValidationGroup of first validator control and its button to some value(a) and ValidationGroup of 2nd validator control and its button to some value(b).

Open IIS > Right Click on Web Sites in which your Virtual Directory Present > Select Web Site Tab > Change Port No from there.

Step 1 : Run > type inetmgr

if IIS is installed in your system the IIS will open UP otherwise you have to install IIS from Control Panel > Add Remove Program

Step 2 : In the Explorer side, you have a web site folder. If you click that folder, "Default Web Site" Will be there. And its by default runs on Port 80.
And any Virtual Directory created under that default site will run on port 80.

Suppose You have a a virtual directory called "MySites", you can access then like
http://servername/MySites
or
http://servername:80/MySites

Now : You want to create another web sites Say "My Web Site Two" , you can create, but you have to change the Port Number by Right Clicking on Web Site -> Properties TAB > Web Sites

Hope this gives you clear idea.

webrequest POST not creating the right response

I am trying to automatically populate a forum control on an asp page.

I am send a webrequest with POST and url encoding. However, I always just get the empty form page back.
Sending the data on the URL using the "data1=val1&data2=val2" just brings up the form itself as well.

I starting to think I am missing something. The site uses __doPostBack in the form. I will have to maintain cookies and state on any subsequent calls, but the first one already fails.

How can I tell which type of request the page accepts?
