Thankyou
YPKI

Try the System.Media.SoundPlayer class.
Works in .NET 3.5, not sure about 2.0.

First remove the reference of the .dll then again add it and rebuild your program
Thank u

got same again...any other way???
It could well be a dependancy further down the line that is missing (i.e. a dll that the dll you referenced references...). Use dependancy walker (or similar) to see what the dll causing the issue is using and make sure they're all deployed with your app.

Try DateTime.Now.ToString("yyyyMMddHHmmss"); .
Reference from MSDN.
thanks,
last solution worked perfectly, however how will I convert this into original string back? Please suggest.
thanks
Jeet
DateTime.ParseExact(dateTimeString, "yyyyMMddHHmmss", null); will give back the original DateTime object (MSDN).

If I create my own control derived from UserControl, can I put it ( the .cs file ) directly inside the project that's going to use the control, or must the control be inside a control library dll?
It can just be in the project.

Well then I can't understand why I can't get my control to show when I add it to the form's Controls collection:
MyControl newControl = new MyControl();
Form1.Controls.Add( newControl );
newControl.visible = true;
And the control doesn't show up.
