When I tried to insert the image on the right-side of the table, it appeared below that table!
<p>
<img src ="map.jpg"
align ="right" width="20" height="20"> (table)
</p>
|
|
|
|
|
<table>
<tr>
<td>
Whatever you talk
</td>
<td>
Your image, button here.
</td>
</tr>
</table&tg;
|
|
|

|
I did try this method, it only works when we have only 1 row because the button will appear on the right-side of that row
- If we have a table of 10 rows (all equal cells) & if I have the image (or button) with bigger size than a cell, then when we put the image/button in 1 row as you suggested ---> that row will be un-equaled with other rows & the table looks weird depending on what size of the image or button
*) Might be I have to use 2 different frames, 1 frame for the table & 1 frame for the image & button. However, I can nor reside it within my .htm program. The 2 frames should reside in the middle (not in center), I have some thing before & after to show the user
Any better idea?

<table id='outtertable'>
<tr>
<td>
<table id='datatable'>
<tr>
<td>
------->YOUR DATA
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
<td>
<table id='buttontable>
<tr>
<td>
------->Your button
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
But you can do "colspan" with all the rows to achieve the same. So time to learn colspan. Search for it.

Html img tag onclick event is an client side event and it can not call server side method unless you use dopostback with eventarguments or AJAX.

I am starting a new web service. I will be offering a "certified seal" for members to place on their websites.. very similar to the Trust-Guard.com service.
I want to make the seal so that that images cannot simply be copied and pasted on anyones site. I also want the seal to be "disabled" should a member fail to pay their monthly fee's.
Here is the code Trust-Guard.com uses:
<a name="trustlink" href="https://secure.trust-guard.com/certificates/TopInternetRewards.com" target="_blank">
<img name="trustseal" alt="Security Seal" src="https://secure.trust-guard.com/seals/785/security/small/gray/" border="0"/></a>
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="https://secure.trust-guard.com/seals/seal.js?site=TopInternetRewards.com&pagetype=" ></script>
My question is.. what script are they using or how can create the same type of functions for my "seals"
Thanks for any feedback
Tom

By the looks of things, they're using JavaScript - Probably something along the lines of like: (Pseduo code follows)
if (websiteUrl = "http://secure.trust-guard.com") then
displayImage("specificPic.jpg")
end if
"I want to make the seal so that that images cannot simply be copied and pasted on anyones site."
I'd also suggest you add the site name to the banner, so they cannot simply save it, and edit out the name in MS-Paint or some such.
Good Luck

Hi,
I am developing a c# based system that uses a windows executable as a webservice and am looking for a free isp to upload it to.
(I am running the application at home but my port forwarding is problematic so would like to quickly upload so I can demo externally).
Can anyone suggest a free ISP that allows CGI executables to be uploaded?
The applciation opens a local access database and handles sql/xml strings back and forth..
Many thanks

Hi...
I deployed my web application on internet.
but my first page is .aspx file.
When i am renaming it to index.htm then i m able to get it when i browse my website...
so is it necessary to make it index.htm, then when i m renaming it and my site is displayed i observe that few controls are not available which are there in .aspx file
or is it that i did not deploy my website properly.
please give me solutions...
thanks

You have to set the Default page in IIS for that. Open IIS, Right Click on Virtual Directory> Go to the Documents | You can see index.htm is over there, that why its working. Remove all those stuff from the list, Add you default page name [ e.g : Home.aspx]
Then try.
