While I've had several of the problems listed, I can't honestly attribute any of them to the time I've spent at the computer. I've got a nice desk and chair, so I don't get most of the orthopedic problems. My temper isn't always the best  , but that can be attributed to personality defects (either mine or my coworkers  ) rather than time in front of the screen.
The one exception on the list might be migraines. While time at the PC doesn't trigger my migraines, working at the computer will tend to make an existing one worse.

Too much stress and too much intensity have attributed to hunched shoulders. These hunched shoulders have restricted blood and spinal fluid to my hands. Thus my hands get cold and weak and hurt. I've come to realize writing software is physical work and requires appropriate care. Breaks, exercises, a new job and learning to walk away have contributed to improvements. Redefining/recommitting to priorities in life have made some of these changes easier. In the end I want to dwell in the house of the Lord, that makes it easier to walk away.

But my neck and shoulders often ache or go stiff. I'm not sure if it's my seating posture or my pillow that's the culprit. Maybe both.
I also used to have lower back pain, but thankfully it's been a few months since I felt it badly.
I'm only 22.

Never any permanent injuries (thus far), I have like I’m sure many others suffered from soar neck, shoulders, lower back. Does that count?

Hello,
I've had headaches and bad eyes because I was sitting in front of a computer and doing too intense stuff for far too long. I don't know about anybody else, but I can still keep it up for more than 5 hours before I get any symptoms because I'm still young. I don't sit longer than 3 hours in front of a computer anymore though.
I also suffered some neck and back injuries. This didn't come from sitting too long in front of computer, but from a bad chair / monitor position / desk hight combo. This is the reason why I didn't vote for this.
I get bad temper too when I work on a very difficult problem and someone interrupts me when I'm close to a solution. Anybody else has problems when they are 'in the zone' and someone comes and interrupts you?

Not only when I'm 'in the zone'. When someone interrupts me I allway loose about 10 minutes to rearrange what I was doing before I've got interrupted.

Now days, I make them wait while I write a quick note (to keep my place) before answering questions. But that took some training:
FIRST TRAINING SESSION OF A NEW MANAGER
TITLED: "I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING"
MANAGER: How is this done in C.
ME: (try to relax, stop working) Answer question, and go back to work. (I am realy making progress)
MANAGER: I don't understand can you explane that again.
ME: (temper, temper, unclench your teath) Answer question again in more detail. (back to work)
MANAGER: (pissed) Oviously you did not understand the question.
ME: (blowup, chair knocked back, head for whiteboard) Wrong you oviously did not understand the answer, here is how it works. (details with drawings, and verble explanation) (back to work, ignoring him)
MANAGER: (nothing but silence)
END SESSION (The rest is history)

i'm kinda yung too, i get only some backpains, nothing much.. cuz i move alot, i have 5 desktop computers, 3 laptops, 2 pocket pc and 1 smart phone. i spend time in the zone at weekends, its about 14 huors a day, and other days its about 10 huors a day.. i can be online even if i'm in school, studying or in the library. but. i think technology has given me more than taken. i am a hi-tech freak even though i'm only 16 yr old, and i wish i could be more.

Since I work at home the only one disturbing me is my girlfriend. And she usually recognizes this 'look' on my face telling her 'don't dare to talk to me know'.
At the time I used to work in some office and somebody appeared in the corner of my eye, I just pulled a grimace that would make Hannibal Lector look like katholic school boy and the problem was solved instantly.

I hope that I have that problem one day. If my girlfriend will be the only disturbing factor, it will be some factor that I can manage..
