You want a Palm with a busted screen?

I've always wanted an out of the ordinary coaster anyway (come to think of it thats all I'd use a new Palm handheld for), but that CE device could find a good home over here

That's just like me!
I won my Toshiba at a Microsoft tech-talk, and I figured: "wtf am i going do with this?" But then I discovered the wonderful world of electronic books. So that's basically the what I use my PPC for. And once my memory card arrives, then I can change it into a very-over-powered MP3-player.

The point is that if you had to choose an OS for your device, which would it be?

But, I don't want a handheld device to begin with. I'm so stuck.

Ah, now understand, my English, sorry...
But I'm sure now time for another poll:
What position you had to choose if you had possibility
to do it:
- Chairman
- CEO
- President
- Programmer
It is especially important for codeproject future direction.

Jeez you people can make something so simple into a complicated issue that requires FOUR entries into the discussion thread. No wonder regular people can't figure us out!
If you don't get it don't vote, it's that simple!

Noooooo You guys are not sucking me in to a chain of snide remarks and condescending attitudes. And it's HANDhelds, not hendhelds. Another reason real people think we techies are out of touch. Learn to spell! What they didn't teach that at MIT (or wherever)?;P

I was just going to ignore this because it is clear you are either trolling or just not paying attention to anything.
First it is handhelds or Handhelds if placed at the beginning of the sentence. Not HANDhelds. Second nobody cares if a simple spelling mistake was made. We're all human and we all make mistakes. A small spelling error does not classify people as out of touch. I think the reason people think techies are out touch is because you. And if your spelling is so perfect you would have known that No is spelled with just one o .

I spelled it that way to highlight the misspelled word. And the reason I wrote Nooooo it to try to emulate the sound I was making. It is called artistic license as opposed to error. Spelling may not matter in this type of thing, but it does matter in general. I once had to modify an entire system I inherited years ago (1980's) written in COBOL because the guy before me misspelled the word "vendor" as "vender" throughout the system, in literally thousands of instances, both in code and in the character-based user interface. Do you know how bad that makes us look to users and managers in the business world? It does seem that things like spelling and (yipes!) penmanship and other basic skills once accepted as essential to success in the world have slipped in importance. Perhaps this is due to computerization or just laziness, who knows. Nevertheless I feel it does diminish the human experience, and I regret it's demise. Imagine if the writers of the Declaration of Independence had the same attitude?
Well, I understand, anyway. Sorry if I offended.
