If we speak about a DataGridView I would say that you can only change the ForeColor and/or the BackColor of a selected Cell - sorry.

sorry I mean is datagridview , is there any other way to make the selected row has a border effect ?

Perhaps you could customize the DGV.
But in the Moment I don't know how to do that ...
