hi all,,

i want to install visual studio 2012 in my windows 7 computer. i want to ask what version of sql server express i can use with visual studio 2012 and run without problem.

Solution 1

Off topic for this forum, however you should be able to use most if not all of the versions of sql express - the connection string is the key.

I am using Visual Studio 2010, 2012 and 2013 on Windows 7 and have had no issues connecting with SQL Server Express 2012 if that helps
