You need to trigger backup process or just copy the file? Also, what have you tried?

I don't have idea how to do this from ubuntu to windows.
please provide some code snippet or reference links.
else at least tell me how to copy file from ubuntu to windows.

But I don't know what are you trying to do...that is why I asked the question. Do you have to trigger the backup AND copy the resulting file OR just copy existing file from unix?

If latter, create FTP folder and copy from that if it would work. Alternatively, build web service on UNIX that provides binary stream to the client and call it from .NET.
