Amazon product advertisement API code in c#

Dear experts,
I am totally new to Amazon product advertisement API. Kindly suggest me how can i call Amazon product advertisement API for getting all product list by category wise. There are many stuff on this when google but i am totally confusing regarding this. So kindly help on this.

I need to make some requests to PA (ItemSearch) with C#/VBScript (asp.net) but I have no idea where to start.. Amazon has such a poor documentation and outdated examples and so on...
Is there ANY new(er) examples out there, which will work for sure?
