How to save logout information in DB when browser tab was closed

Actually i am handling one web application in that i am facing one problem that was. when i am logged into my site then i am saving that information some X person logined at that XX-XX-XX time and when he clicked logout button i am saving logout information some XX-XX-XX here my problem was
when he closed the tab are full browser i am unable to save the logout information

so is there any way to solve this problem
