How Can I Stop A Auto Post Back Of A Grid View At Run Time

I dragged and dropped a grid view and i changed i bound controls to item template and i added my own controls like drop down list and text boxes. and i kept two buttons one is for adding a new row to that grid view another is for remove a row from the grid view.if Run that application at run time if i clicked on add and remove buttons it is adding and Removing a rows but if i fill that first column than i click on add button previous filled information is reloaded so how to overcome that in run time... i tried many ways to stop a auto post back to False but it is not working


please can you suggest me....!
