plist parsing working on android version 2.3.5 but not on android 4.0.3

In my android application, I am parsing Plist files from assets folder by following this tutorial http://www.kpbird.com/2011/08/android-plist-parser.html . The code works fine on emulator and android device of version 2.3.5 but does not work on android device of version 4.0.3. The Plist data is displayed in the logcat but not in TextViews. It does not give any error but shows only the blank screen in higher version devices. What should be done to resolve this? Please help.
