How to unlock Visual-Studio 2010 Design mode

Hi,

I am using Visual-Studio 2010 for a project.
When I am selecting design view whole page is selected and when I am moving over can see a red symbol.
Appreciate your help.

I have not locked it SA.
just opened a new project and when I try to go design view facing this issue

What sort of page, what elements do you have in design window, what is the red symbol that you see? Please remember, we cannot see your screen, so you need to provide full details of the problem you are facing.
