sharepoint 2010- Why to use farm solution

I read regarding difference between sandbox solution and farm solution.
But i have a doubt why we used farm only. i dont want differences between farm and sandbox.
can anyone explain this by giving technical examples.

Hi,

In SP, the Sand Box slutions will have very limited features at post deployement. But the Farm Solution provides every feature for accessing.

that what i dont want the difference between sandbox and farm
but how to convince client about farm solution respect to technically terms..
