Greetings,

I've got what's prbably a noob question but I am confused. I have taken tutorials to "bone up" on UDP and am confused about the difference (if any) between Udp unicast and broadcast.

Question: is unicast and broadcast virtually the same ? Are they both setup same way ?

Again, sorry for the baseness of the inquiry but I need to get your input on this. Thanks ahead ! :)

Quite a fair answer, my 5.

I'd already "googled" intensively prior to posting this question.
stackoverflow says " Unicast = one sender sends to one receiver" ; broadcast = one sender sends to maany receivers.
