How to repeat the same value individual cell in Google Spreadsheet

Hello Experts,



If a value is entered in an individual cell of a google spread sheet..then it should not be allowed to edit it.

Is there any chance of repeating the same value as entered for the first time..



For eg:

for the first time if i enter a value like 5 in the cell..then even-though if i change the value to something like 3 or 2 or any number it should again repeat the first value i.e., 5

how to do this ..
