How to sync SharePoint list with excel file located in shared documents in SharePoint site

Hello,

I am trying to sync excel with a SharePoint list on the same site. The excel file is uploaded in document library but not getting updated when I am making any changes in SharePoint list while opening in excel services wherein it works fine when I open the file with office client installed on machine.
