Icons don't have font color. An
icon is just a collection if bitmaps of different sizes, supporting transparency, with some metadata. From the standpoint of a bitmaps, there is not text in it, forget about fonts, there are only pixels. In principle, you could use
OCR, but this is a bad idea in principle (the idea you've been preoccupied in asking this question, not OCR itself :-)).
