CodeBlock is an IDE, not a compiler. So everything depend on the actual compiler you use. You have to create or modify a
project template[
^] and add proper compiler switch. Supposing you use GCC/MingW that is shipped in a package with the IDE, you can't "turn off" ansi compatibility, you need to specify which standard or extension support you want. See:
